Conservation is the starting point

Paubrasilia echinata populations is the starting point of the project. The project does not minimise concerns about illegal origin or illegal trade. The study adds documented professional experience to botanical, conservation-science and regulatory knowledge. It examines the verifiable conditions under which legal, traceable and responsible use of the resource may be possible. It does not replace population research or prejudge a regulatory decision. data-i18n-html="positionText">The project starts from the need to protect wild populations of Paubrasilia echinata and does not relativise illegal origin or trade. Its purpose is to add documented professional knowledge to botanical, conservation-science and regulatory evidence, and to examine under which verifiable conditions legal, traceable and resource-efficient use may be possible. The survey does not replace population research and does not predetermine a regulatory conclusion.
